1. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you use Deloaded and which information you choose to provide.
Account Information
When you create or maintain a Deloaded account, we may collect:
- Your name;
- Email address;
- Profile name;
- Account preferences; and
- Communications associated with your account.
Account authentication is provided through Supabase. Passwords are submitted to and handled by the authentication provider; Deloaded does not intentionally store your plaintext password in its workout-data database.
Fitness and Body Information
When you use Deloaded’s fitness, nutrition, or progress features, you may choose to provide information such as:
- Age;
- Sex, when relevant to a selected feature;
- Height and weight;
- Estimated body-fat percentage;
- Training experience;
- Fitness, strength, weight, nutrition, or body-composition goals;
- Workout schedule and unit preferences;
- Physical limitations or exercise preferences; and
- Other body-related or fitness information you choose to enter.
This information may reveal details about your health, physical condition, or fitness habits. You are not required to provide every category of information unless it is needed for a feature you choose to use.
Workout and Training Information
When you create, save, complete, or track workouts, we may collect and store information including:
- Training programs and workout plans;
- Exercises selected or created;
- Workout dates and completion history;
- Sets, repetitions, resistance, duration, distance, intensity, and perceived exertion;
- Rest settings;
- Personal records;
- Workout and exercise notes;
- Exercise substitutions;
- Training frequency and volume;
- Progress over time; and
- Other information entered into workout features.
Nutrition Information
When you use Deloaded’s nutrition features, you may provide information such as foods or meals logged, calories, macronutrients, nutrition goals, meal history, dietary preferences, and other nutrition information you choose to enter.
Information You Submit to Us
We may collect information when you contact us for support, report a problem, submit feedback, request account assistance, or otherwise communicate with us. This may include your contact information, the contents of your message, and files or screenshots you provide.
Information Collected Automatically
When you access or use the Services, Deloaded and its infrastructure providers may automatically receive limited technical and operational information, such as your Internet Protocol address, browser or device type, operating system, access date and time, authentication events, error logs, and security information.
Deloaded also uses browser storage for essential functions, including maintaining your authenticated session and remembering your theme preference.
2. How We Use Information
We may use personal information to:
- Create, authenticate, maintain, and secure user accounts;
- Provide the Deloaded website and application;
- Save and display workout programs, nutrition information, exercise history, and progress;
- Personalize features based on information and preferences you supply;
- Calculate workout totals, progress metrics, personal records, calorie or macronutrient targets, and related information;
- Synchronize information across devices;
- Respond to questions, support requests, and feedback;
- Send account, authentication, security, administrative, and service-related messages;
- Diagnose technical problems and improve performance;
- Develop, test, and improve features;
- Detect fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents;
- Enforce our Terms and other policies;
- Comply with applicable law and legal process; and
- Protect the rights, safety, and property of Deloaded, our users, and others.
We may also create aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be linked to an identifiable user and use it for lawful analytics, research, security, and product-development purposes.
3. Fitness and Health-Related Information
Deloaded is a fitness, workout, nutrition, and progress-tracking service. Information entered into Deloaded does not create a physician-patient or other healthcare-professional relationship and is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Although information entered into Deloaded may relate to your body, fitness, nutrition, or health, Deloaded is not necessarily a healthcare provider, health plan, healthcare clearinghouse, or business associate regulated by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”).
Avoid entering medical records, diagnoses, treatment information, or other highly sensitive medical information unless a Deloaded feature specifically requests it and you are comfortable providing it. Where applicable law treats fitness, body, nutrition, or workout information as consumer health data or sensitive personal information, we will process it in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
4. How We Disclose Information
Service Providers
We may provide information to vendors that perform services on our behalf. Based on the current application setup, these may include:
- Supabase, for account authentication, database storage, and related backend services;
- Google Fonts, for delivery of font files used in the interface;
- Website hosting and infrastructure providers; and
- Security, email-delivery, development, and operational service providers.
These providers may access information only as reasonably necessary to perform services for Deloaded, subject to their agreements and applicable law.
At Your Direction
We may disclose information when you direct us to do so, use a sharing or integration feature, or otherwise consent to the disclosure.
Legal and Safety Purposes
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, respond to lawful government requests, enforce our agreements, investigate fraud or security incidents, protect rights or safety, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Business Transactions
If Deloaded is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, personal information may be reviewed, transferred, or disclosed as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
Aggregated or De-Identified Information
We may disclose information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it cannot reasonably be linked to an identifiable individual.
5. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
Deloaded does not sell users’ names, email addresses, body information, nutrition information, or workout histories for money.
As of the effective date, Deloaded does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising as those terms are defined under applicable privacy laws. If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notice, consent, or opt-out method required by law.
7. Analytics
Deloaded does not currently use a dedicated advertising or cross-site behavioral analytics service in the application setup provided with this policy. Hosting, authentication, database, and security providers may still create basic operational logs needed to deliver and protect the Services.
If Deloaded later adds a third-party analytics or session-monitoring service, this Privacy Policy should be updated before or when that service is enabled.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and maintain your account, store workouts and progress, complete the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, satisfy legal or security obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Workout history, body information, nutrition information, and other account content may generally be retained until you delete the applicable information, reset your app data, or request deletion of your account, subject to technical limitations and legally permitted retention.
After deletion, some information may remain temporarily in backups, security logs, fraud-prevention systems, or records that we are legally required or permitted to retain. Aggregated or de-identified information may be retained longer when it can no longer reasonably be associated with you.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These safeguards may include access controls, secure connections, authentication protections, database security rules, encryption provided by service providers, logging, and backups.
No website, application, database, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials, using a strong and unique password, and notifying us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
10. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, or portability of personal information; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling; restrict or object to certain processing; appeal a privacy-request response; and receive information about categories of third parties that received information.
You can review or update some information directly through your Deloaded account. To submit a privacy request, contact [privacy email]. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
11. Deleting Your Account
The current Deloaded interface includes controls for resetting or deleting categories of workout, nutrition, and profile data. Those controls may not delete the underlying authentication account.
To request deletion of your Deloaded account and associated personal information, contact [privacy email]. Deleting an account may permanently remove access to workout history, saved programs, personal records, body information, nutrition information, and other account content. Save any information you wish to keep before requesting deletion.
Certain information may be retained when required or permitted for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or enforcement purposes.
12. Email Communications
We may send transactional or administrative emails concerning your account, including confirmation messages, password-reset messages, security notices, and important service or policy changes.
If Deloaded later sends promotional emails, those emails will include an applicable unsubscribe method. Opting out of marketing messages will not prevent necessary account or service-related communications.
13. Children’s Privacy
Deloaded is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13 without legally valid parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information to Deloaded may contact [privacy email]. Users under the age of legal majority where they live should use Deloaded only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
14. Third-Party Websites and Services
The Services may contain links to or depend on third-party websites, applications, products, or services. Deloaded does not control and is not responsible for the privacy, security, availability, or content practices of those third parties. Information you provide directly to a third party is governed by that third party’s privacy policy.
15. International Users
Deloaded is operated from the United States. If you access the Services from another country, your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States or another jurisdiction where our service providers operate. Privacy and data-protection laws in those jurisdictions may differ from the laws in your location. Where required, we will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or Services. When we make changes, we will revise the “Last Updated” date. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we may provide additional notice through the Services, by email, or by another appropriate method.
